Ryan Holter

Joining her in practice, Dr. Holter’s husband of 10 years, Ryan Holter, is excited to apply his experiences in journalism, classroom teaching, and veterinary medicine to practice management. He has covered animal health issues as a writer, taught humane education and nature studies programs, and volunteered for years in wildlife rehabilitation where he gained a love of birds of prey. Also active in surfing, snowboarding and motorcycling, Ryan leads a classical Japanese sword study group every week in San Francisco with Dr. Holter. Otherwise, he is at home or in the woods with his wife and two dogs, “Alobar,” an Aussie, and “Kemper,” a Golden Retriever.
