Radiology & Ultrasound

Here at Animal Hospital of Diamond Heights, we use highly advanced digital radiology to take extremely high quality radiographs or “x-rays.” Those can then be sent for next-day review by a board-certified radiologist to ensure the best possible diagnostic evaluation of your pet.

We regularly employ the use of radiology specialists to perform ultrasound examinations of your pet if the need arises. This is a safe, non-invasive test that can prove very informative in a number of medical conditions.

Last but not least, here at Animal Hospital of Diamond Heights, we can even take radiographs of your dog or cat's teeth and jaw to provide further diagnosis of potentially diseased teeth during a dental cleaning.
